Each year the watchmaking industry presents to the jury of the GPHG a list of candidates for the evaluation and celebration of the very best of horology, and in this 2016 the headline was the Ferdinand Berthoud newly brand, a reborn one thanks to the vision of Karl Friedrich Scheufele, who was selected with the maximum award of the night at Conquering the Aiguille d’Or for its Chronométrie, which regains the legacy of the marine chronometers to exhibit an impeccable march through an incredibly well-tuned energy transfer.
